Iron Ore is a mined piece of rock and mineral from which a Bar of Cast Iron can be gained.
How to Acquire[]
Iron Ore is obtained by mining in an Iron Mine. To turn it into usable metal, it must be smelted in an Ore Smelter.
Note[]
As with all ores, the chance of the ore becoming a bar is calculated as soon as the ore is mined. A character with a high industry belief will be much more successful in mining ore that will yield bars than a character with a high nature belief. The mining process does not effect the quality of the resultant bar at all.
